Mark Albert is the Founder and CEO of Media Advisory Experts and is a Peabody and EMMY award-winning master storyteller.

 

Mark's 25-year journalism career is distinguished by investigative and political reporting, innovative storytelling techniques, and creative communications. He's traveled the world for CBS News and reported from the White House, Capitol Hill and the US Supreme Court; created and led a national investigative unit for Hearst Communications; taught journalists in newsrooms in the US, Vietnam, and Pakistan; launched an online news startup and podcast about travel news and deals; and created a media database to drive countless earned media appearances.

landing high-profile, national interviews, including with

Journalist and media educator Terry Anzur speaks from 30 years of on-air experience in TV news. She has anchored and reported for CBS and NBC stations in top markets including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Washington DC, Houston, Atlanta and Miami. 

 

She co-hosted a national show on the NBC-owned America’s Talking network. A graduate of Stanford University, she was on the faculty of the Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism, University of Southern California, before starting her own international media training company and travel journalism website.

  • Can I buy tickets at the door?
    Space is limited, so registration must be completed in advance.
  • How many spots are available?
    To ensure an intimate, tailored and immersive experience, the number of attendees will be capped. Once the cap is reached, no more space will be available.
  • What if I've never been on camera or appeared in-studio before?
    No problem! When you leave this event, you will have the knowledge you need to ace your media appearances, along with video clips of you in-studio to post to your platforms. For those attendees who feel they’ll need additional coaching, we encourage them to register for the VIP tier, which will include one-on-one Hot Seat Coaching with Mark Albert during the third, optional day of the event, Sunday, Sept. 15, 2024.
  • Will I be provided pre-training so that I’m fully prepared for the event?
    Yes! Attendees will receive a suite of pre-training materials, including at least one live virtual session, so that they can maximize their learning on-site.
  • Where should I stay?
    The preferred hotel for the event is the JW Marriott, located at 11331 Pennsylvania Avenue NW, Washington, DC 20004. Guests will receive room block information after registering. Special event rate available for a limited time.
  • Will meals be provided?
    Lunch will be provided on Friday and Saturday. Breakfast and dinner will be on your own. The hotel has restaurants, and there are several great eateries within walking distance.
